Pharmacist in Charge--Part-Time (Rotational Schedule)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, business-mindedPharmacist in Charge (PIC)to join our Pennsylvania retail store on a part-time, rotational basis. The PIC will work closely with our current pharmacist and store manager to ensure operations run smoothly, remain compliant with all state and federal regulations, and maintain profitability. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with leadership skills and a passion for both patient care and operational excellence. Schedule The schedule rotates every other week as follows: • Week 1:Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (9AM-5PM) • Week 2:Tuesday, Thursday (9AM- 5PM) • Week 3:Repeats Week 1 schedule Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies • Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently • Provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance • Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy staff • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and reports • Monitor inventory, manage ordering, and control costs to maintain profitability • Collaborate with the store manager to drive business growth and customer satisfaction Qualifications • Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy • Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or in a pharmacy leadership role preferred • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance patient care and operational goals • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to changing needs Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly rate • Flexible, part-time schedule • Opportunity to make a direct impact on pharmacy operations and growth Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Work Location: In person
