Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Physician Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team.

About the role:

As a Physician Recruiter you are responsible the full-cycle recruitment of board-certified physicians and the operational leaders who support them. We are looking for someone who understands the unique licensing and regulatory nuances of the telehealth landscape.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Washington is: $57.00 - $75.00 per hour. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $51.00 - $70.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify physicians across multiple specialties using advanced sourcing techniques beyond traditional job boards.
  • Review resumes and evaluate candidates' qualifications against job requirements
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess clinical understanding, "webside manner," and technical proficiency for virtual care.
  • Collaborate and advise hiring managers on how to make informed selection decisions
  • Independently advise and influence partners (e.g. candidates, hiring managers) on the candidate market and recruiting processes
  • Facilitate the offer process including salary negotiations, benefits discussions, and finalizing employment terms
  • Analyze candidate pipeline history and pass through rates to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with 2+ years of experience in Physician Recruitment.
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships and engaging with hiring managers and candidates
  • 5+ years of experience using sourcing tools to identify a diverse set of candidates
  • Understanding of multi-state licensing and the nuances of 1099 vs. W2 clinical employment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience recruiting both in-house and agency-side, or in startups, tech, healthcare or insurance
  • Exposure to Greenhouse or a similar Applicant Tracking System

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
