Position Overview
This role provides overnight coverage for our 24–bed CCU, which serves a diverse population of advanced cardiac and surgical patients. The program continues to grow and offers exposure to some of the most complex cardiac cases in the region.
Program Highlights
~30 heart transplants annually
~80 durable LVAD implants per year
~Expanding ECMO program
Full spectrum of temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella, Centrimag, IABP, etc.)
Implementation of a formal shock program
Pulmonary hypertension care integrated with advanced therapies
Robust clinical research programs in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and critical care
Team Culture & Collaboration
Physicians in this role will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that includes cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced heart failure specialists, interventional and general cardiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and experienced advanced practice providers. The program emphasizes high–quality, patient–centered care and continuous clinical innovation.
