Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians and carpenters, to ensure that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform construction plumbing tasks such as installing new piping for water supply and drainage. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. • Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure proper integration of heating and cooling systems with plumbing. • Execute pipe threading and welding as needed for system installations or repairs. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations. Qualifications • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction plumbing techniques, and relevant codes. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with plumbing work. • Valid plumber's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
