Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist, vSIM

Position Summary:

The Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist will be an integral member of the Product Support and Solutions team for Precision’s cutting-edge Clinical Translational Hub platform, QuartzBio. This position will work with an interdisciplinary team and interface directly with clients to advance adoption of QuartzBio’s technology solutions.

The Solutions Specialist will join a team with responsibility for managing key aspects of the customer lifecycle, from serving as product experts in initial sales conversations, to onboarding, training, and supporting existing customers. As a member of the Product Support and Solutions team, a successful Solutions specialist will collaborate with the Sales team to develop leads by demonstrating QuartzBio capabilities and architecting solutions that solve customer pain points.

Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with the QuartzBio commercial team to develop of customer-facing materials, support RFP/I responses, and participate in kickoff calls internally and with clients. The Solutions Specialist will also play a crucial role in shaping the product roadmap by providing customer feedback on useful features and functionality to the Product Management team.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Participate in pre-sales demonstrations as a technical expert, leading the demonstration of the QuartzBio platform for prospective customers
• Deliver webinars to QuartzBio’s existing and prospective customerbase, introducing new capabilities to the market
• Assist in the creation of sales/marketing content
• Own the technical response to RFI/P questionnaires from customers. Lead demonstrations as part of bid defense/proposal defense meetings.
• Collect feedback and share observations on customer pain points and potential opportunities for QuartzBio to innovate
• Collaborate internally with members of other Quartz teams, pseudo-internally with members of other Precision divisions, and externally with vendors (e.g. product support platforms)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in Clinical Research, Clinical Data Management, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Product Support, Data Science, or related field

Other Required:

• Hands-on familiarity with Clinical Data Management tools, including EDC and Inventory/LIMS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present work internally and externally
• Team player contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment
• Ability to work independently, exercising judgment within generally defined practices and selecting an approach for performance against high-level goals
• Extended work hours may be required to meet business demands
• Able to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally to client sites, including overnight stays
• Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language

Preferred:

• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry as a Clinical Research Assistant, Data Manager, or other similar trial operations role
• Expertise in content development for internal and external audiences (e.g. contributions to user manuals, quick-start guides, or marketing materials)
• Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting experience a plus
