WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing end-to-end technical solutions that support Nike's Customer Data Platform on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). You'll work closely with the product and architecture teams to provide leadership in driving technical design and solutions across multiple solution areas, contributing to the business's future success through innovations in technology.
- Lead the design and the development of technical solutions for activating on AEP.
- Establish and communicate a strategic vision for multiple systems and solution areas
- Hands-on coding and providing technical leadership.
- Collaborate and partner with Product and Engineering leadership to establish product roadmaps.
- Adopt and influence best in class design and architecture principles of security, scale, uptime and reliability.
- Ensure marketing technology integrates and operates synchronously with enterprise technology platforms.
- Partner with business leaders provide expert and technical advice to influence strategic decision-making.
- Think ahead of the technology curve, research, and recommend and guide the technical process.
- Serve as a technical SME on MarTech projects across our Global Technology enterprise.
- Contribute to architecture guiding principles, development standards, training, and hiring.
- Ability to influence outcomes across loosely coupled teams in a large enterprise
- Assist in solving and resolving production issues.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in software engineering developing full stack software solutions.
- 3 to 5 years of Marketing technology experience.
- Experience integrating with various Adobe toolsets in the marketing space - in particular, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Journey Orchestration (JO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
- Experience in developing End to End technical Architecture of very large-scale applications.
- Understanding how privacy policies intersects in the marketing space.
- Understanding of integrating with AI/ML solutions to drive marketing experiences.
- Experience in customizing product solutions.
- Excellent collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all partners (management, business users, and technology team members)
- Experience in microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful API's
- Hands-on experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment with high transaction volumes
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels in matrix environment
