Principal Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Job Description
The Principal Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a strategic, global role for Markforged. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Demand Generation, you will orchestrate Markforge’s efforts to systematically identify, engage, sell to and grow relationships with our target buyers.
What will you own?- Ensure we have as complete a picture as possible of our addressable market as defined by our ideal customer account profile and individual buyer personas
- Develop, maintain, and grow a complete, high quality prospect and customer database of this addressable market across our Americas, EMEA and APAC regions
- Develop and grow a lead nurture program that engages and educates potential buyers with content that’s relevant to their specific situation
- Monitor and report on engagement across our target market over time by Markforged marketing, sales and partner efforts
- Collaborate with customer marketing to boost customer success and growth through targeted communication
- Support and embody Markforged’s values: One Team, Own It, Customer Success, Do Great, Innovate, and Believe.
Important Note: Although we list out what we generally look for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit, but are not currently listed. Research has shown this especially applies to women and other marginalized groups, who tend to apply if they check 100% of every box, versus men who apply if they hit roughly 60%. The point we’re getting at, it doesn’t hurt to take a chance and apply!
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years of related responsibilities in market sizing, customer/prospect building, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, and lead nurturing strategies.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and demonstrated success working with and leading cross-functional teams to get things done, drive results, and hit targets
- Experience working with sales
- Equally comfortable and experienced as a data driven and a creative problem solver
- Bonus if you have experience working in 3D printing ecosystem and/or marketing to manufacturing customers
- Bonus if you have experience marketing for a high velocity sales cycle
- Bonus if you have both hardware and SaaS product marketing experience
