Position Summary: 

Swiftly is seeking a dynamic Principal Product Manager to lead our admin and portal initiatives. You will be responsible for creating the roadmap and long-term strategy for our highly technical mobile, web, and self-service platform offerings, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal and external developers and customers. 


In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the company, including product experience, site reliability, engineering, and operations, to build products that delight customers and empower retailers. This position requires excellent communication, product management expertise, and a deep understanding of the platform’s role in supporting both customer-facing features and developer needs. 


Deel is the contract of record. 


Responsibilities Include:

  • Platform Vision: Develop and articulate a strategic roadmap for the platform that aligns with company objectives and enables innovation across product lines
  • Drive Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in delivering robust platform capabilities, includingAPIs, developer tools, and infrastructure improvements
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and technical feasibility
  • Scalability & Reliability: Champion initiatives that enhance platform scalability, reliability, and security, ensuring a seamless experience for developers and end-users
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to keep our platform ahead of the curve
  • Customer Focus: Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to identify pain points, opportunities, and enhancements for the platform
  • Retailer Focus: Drive the design, development, and launch of a retailer portal that enables retailers to efficiently manage their accounts, inventory, and other operations through self-service tools 
  • Data Driven: Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure success and guide future improvements 
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or product management, delivering highly technical products
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve strategic priorities
  • Defines and implements API strategies, standards, and governance, ensuring a cohesive developer experience and alignment with industry trends
  • Demonstrated experience in managing roadmap strategy, feature delivery, and product trade-offs
  • Ability to gain insight from data understanding that customer experience is an essential data point
  • Healthy balance of both analytical and creative thinking with a desire to discover and fulfill the needs of clients as well as end-users
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hyper-growth startup environment 
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, developer ecosystems, or enterprise-scale solutions
  • Demonstrated ability across customer segmentation, new product strategy, execution, and product analytics 
  • Passion for technology and commitment to expanding technical knowledge
