Job Description
Security and Privacy are perhaps the largest challenges our customers face today! These challenges are growing in speed and complexity at a seemingly exponential pace. The move to the cloud, new privacy regulations like GDPR, securing the Internet of Things (IoT), growing skill gap, increasing attacker sophistication and the growing economic opportunity for them are only going to make this more challenging and more important. Our customers need our help! The Data Security and Privacy team delivers the data protection, device protection and user protection capabilities across Microsoft and 3P clouds. This suite is already a revenue and usage growth engine for Microsoft, and over the coming year we are growing the team to accelerate 10x faster!
Data is the life blood for modern organizations, their most important asset. The Data Security and Privacy team is focused on creating a family of data governance, risk, and compliance solutions that can help organizations govern, protect, and manage their entire data estate. These solutions provide integrated coverage and help address the recent increases in remote user connectivity, the fragmentation of data across organizations, and the blurring of traditional IT management roles. They cover a wide range of scenarios such as helping gain visibility into data assets across an organization, enable safe use of data throughout its lifecycle, safeguard and manage sensitive data across clouds, apps, and endpoints, manage end-to-end data risks and regulatory compliance and many more!

Our own worldview presents a very different opportunity congruent with our mission - to empower our customers to easily achieve the highest levels of security and privacy across their entire, heterogenous digital estate by delivering intelligent, integrated, extensible, and automated solutions. Understanding roles at Microsoft
The top of this page displays the role for which the base pay ranges apply - Product Management IC5.
The way we define roles includes two things: discipline (the type of work) and career stage (scope and complexity). The career stage has two parts - the first identifies whether the role is a manager (M), an individual contributor (IC), an admin-technician-retail (ATR) job, or an intern. The second part identifies the relative seniority of the role - a higher number (or later letter alphabetically in the case of ATR) indicates greater scope and complexity.
Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.
