Principal Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to support our recruiting efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.

Outcomes: Deploying data fabric at the edge on FPGAs Jetsons and other hardware will enable our DoD customers to have resiliency when the “cloud” isn’t available in disconnected environments.

What we are looking for: 

• 5+years of industry relevant experience developing data intensive platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka. Going beyond the surface and digging into the internals of event streaming, offset management, etc.
• Ability to break large problems into smaller chunks and demonstrate delivery
• Ability to map different problems into an abstract solution
• Proficiency in one of: Golang, Python, Rust
• Experience in developing highly scalable APIs
• Interest or Experience in contributing back to the open source.

Highly preferred:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Physics / Maths
• Experience using Apache Flink and interest in Apache Pinot
• Experience with Terraform – writing modules from scractch

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a top-secret security clearance.
