Principal Solution Architect

The supply chain apps division, creates applications covering the breadth of Supply Chain Planning (SCP), which improves time to value and enhances capabilities we can deliver to customers.

The SCP apps development team is responsible for developing the features agreed as part of the SCP roadmap, prioritised to meet the needs of our customers and prospects. This pivotal role, covers a diverse set of responsibilities including model architecture, management and interacting with key partners across the business.

• Delivery of key features, such as PlanIQ into the SCP suite of applications.
• Partnering with product manager, to ensure requirements are well understood and of sufficient detail to build from.
• Management of two model builders, setting their workload and priorities to deliver against the overall roadmap.
• Driving key decisions around overall architecture of the applications.
• Interacting with Anaplan’s engineering teams, with proposals for improving the underlying platform to support applications strategy. i.e. ALM changes to support upgrade strategy.
• Prototype new ideas and functionalities to support discussions about product roadmap.
• Ensuring new features are prepared to high standard and support a smooth UAT process.
• Ensuring the user experience across the model is intuitive and easy to use.
• Producing model documentation and keeping up to date as new development takes place.

• Extensive commercial Anaplan modelling experience
• Solution Architect Anaplan qualification
• Experience in standard data modelling tools such as Excel, Access and SQL
• Numerically literate, and likely to have a STEM undergraduate degree

• Supply chain experience
• Plan IQ experience
• Anaplan Optimiser experience
