In this senior technical expert role, you will serve as a key interface between advanced semiconductor customers and internal technical, sales, and marketing teams. You will apply deep expertise in microelectronics processes to develop and recommend high-performance filtration solutions that support critical manufacturing environments. Acting as the technical authority within a cross-functional “triad,” you will help solve complex customer challenges, influence product development, and drive adoption of next-generation technologies. This position combines hands-on problem solving, strategic customer engagement, and scientific rigor in a highly innovative, fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in shaping technical outcomes that directly impact semiconductor manufacturing performance and yield. The role offers strong autonomy, global collaboration, and meaningful exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead technical engagements with semiconductor customers, providing advanced filtration expertise and ensuring solutions meet highly specialized manufacturing requirements.

  • Lead technical projects and testing plans to support business and customer objectives
  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend filtration solutions for semiconductor applications (e.g., wet cleans, photolithography, CMP, UPW, etch, gas processes)
  • Independently resolve complex technical challenges and translate learnings into scalable solutions
  • Prepare and present technical reports and findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze voice-of-customer (VoC) feedback to identify performance gaps and future needs
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, R&D, and engineering teams globally
  • Support evaluation of prototype filters and communicate results effectively
  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in semiconductor manufacturing and a strong background in scientific or engineering disciplines, combined with customer-facing experience and problem-solving ability.

    • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
    • 10+ years of relevant experience in microelectronics or semiconductor environments (adjusted for advanced degrees)
    • Strong knowledge of semiconductor process modules such as photolithography or wet etch/clean
    • Understanding of defect analysis and material characterization techniques
    • Experience working with filtration technologies or high-purity process systems (preferred)
    • Proven ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional technical teams
    • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage complex technical challenges with autonomy and rigor
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range with eligibility for bonus and incentive pay
      • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
      • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions (401k)
      • Paid time off and flexible work arrangements where applicable
      • Remote work eligibility depending on role and location
      • Professional development in a highly technical, innovation-driven environment
      • Exposure to global semiconductor customers and advanced technologies
      • Inclusive workplace culture focused on scientific innovation and impact
