Summary: The Procurement Manager will report to the Senior Director, Cash and Treasury and will be responsible to develop and implement cost effective strategies for the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services to support the company’s needs. Duties include sourcing crucial services and products for the company, developing and issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating suppliers and comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements and ensuring compliance with Company policies. This position works very closely with Legal, Vendor Management and all areas of the company and will provide leadership and mentoring for the Senior Specialist Procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate goods and services contracts and lead cost reduction initiatives.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with key partners to guarantee the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Actively engage with all partners to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and take proactive action to ensure needs are effectively met.
- Identify possible consolidation of suppliers across Onbe to negotiate better pricing and reduce expenses.
- Supervise and approve requisition activity to ensure all requests are handled and processed promptly.
- Leverage GPOs to obtain benefits for Onbe.
- Develop and continuously improve the Procurement Policy, tools and systems.
- Monthly reporting of expected Savings Pipeline and key performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain a Supplier diversity program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CIPS Diploma or similar certification.
- 6 years + of proven experience in procurement in financial services.
- Solid understanding of procurement standard processes, strategic sourcing methodologies, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent at logical problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and management of sophisticated procurement projects.
- Proficiency in supplier evaluation and selection, contract management, and supplier performance measurement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally across all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving operational excellence
The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $108,000 to $144,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago. Some periodic travel may be required.
