Procurement Manager - Southeast Region

As a Procurement Manager, your responsibilities may include sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment necessary for the maintenance and repair of commercial HVACR systems. This may include negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods while maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, you may be responsible for inventory management, budgeting, and strategic planning to optimize procurement processes. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities within their region. This position will be a hybrid role.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, defining requirements and sourcing to purchase order creation, approvals, and receipt of goods.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring supplier contractual obligations are met.
• Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that terms and conditions are met and align with the organization's requirements and goals.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods while maintaining high quality standards.
• Responsible for inventory management, budgeting, and strategic planning to optimize procurement processes.
• Ensure that procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, as well as internal policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• High school education or GED required; Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years purchasing, and procurement experience required.
• HVAC/R or related construction industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer skills MS office, and other software applications.

Advanced Mechanical Services, a Helios company, determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,000 to $75,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
