What do you get to do in this position?

PAEs are qualified professionals who have a good technical knowledge of Schneider Electric's offerings in measurement, power quality, and building automation.The PAE provides technical support to the field sales force with in-depth or specific knowledge of products and applications to help: understand the customer's design, configure and place Schneider Electric products according to customer specifications, convert an existing specification, and close a deal.

Responsibilities

• The PAE must actively support the CHANNEL as a technical expert in sales and support situations, responding to our customers' needs by building and developing recommendations that generate added value.
• Work closely with sales, product managers, and a global network of experts.
• Train the sales force on the technologies that the CHANNEL and Schneider Electric decide to focus on.
• Attend to the network of integrators at the technical support level and follow up on initiatives.
• Review and recommend that inventory is healthy to serve end customers and the network of integrators.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programs and applications.
• Must be able to analyze customers to create applications that address their needs and provide innovative solutions to common problems.
• Conduct prototyping, application testing, and code reviews to ensure the product meets expectations.
• Responsible for ensuring that products remain updated and continue to meet customer needs.Support the introduction of new products that are suitable for the region based on the homologation of regulations in each country

This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:

• Education: Technician/Bachelor in Electromechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in projects related to machine and equipment manufacturing.
• Experience in building and industrial automation projects, commissioning, and programming.
• Technical knowledge of any brand regarding basic, intermediate, and advanced range meters; current and voltage transformers, capacitor banks, active filters, electrical distribution protection relays, building management systems, access control, video surveillance systems, biometrics, and field devices for measuring physical variables (HVAC sensors).
• Experience with power quality monitoring systems in electrical suppliers and industry, medium voltage protection software, energy SCADA, climate control systems, and BMS; access control experience is a plus.
• Training and experience in assembling capacitor banks, field sampling of electrical measurements for power quality studies and their analysis, general knowledge in industrial automation and TIER classifications in data centers, ISO 50001 power quality standards, LEED green building certifications, and FDA-type regulations are added value.
• Genuine interest and motivation to become an expert.Interest in working with the sales force and a customer-oriented, solution-oriented mindset.
• Commercial work experience is an advantage, as the ability to present and persuade is required.
• Intermediate English level is required
