Responsibilities & Requirements
At Bonterra, our Product UX & Design team is responsible for the usability of our products. Taking a user-centered design approach, we craft digital solutions that enable progressive organizations, and their supporters to create a more just, inclusive, caring and democratic society. We are looking for a Product Design Lead who is collaborative, skilled in facilitating design workshops, and passionate about building a user-centered design culture to expand and strengthen our UX team.
What You'll Do
  • Build solid partnerships with product management and engineering peers to drive strong solutions
  • Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of user experience problems
  • Create necessary UX artifacts to foster mutual understanding of current state and future solutions
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions & workshops for various purposes
  • Present concepts, and/or UX solutions to stakeholders and department leadership
  • Uphold user-centered design principles and evangelize its value to stakeholders, cross-department teams, and subject matter experts
  • Contribute to the growth of the UX team and foster a collaborative team spirit
  • Help with establishing a design culture within the company

Who You Are
  • 6+ years of experience as a Product or UX Designer with demonstrated skills in Information UI Design & Interaction Design.
  • You love organizing information and know how to optimize data, content, and actions to meet users' needs through research & validation.
  • Experience using customer data (qualitative or quantitative) to inform design and product decisions
  • Excellent collaborator - adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger products as a result
  • Solid problem solver with demonstrated ability to articulate the problem, the solution, and approach - bringing others along through the process.
