Product Designer

About Us: 

High Alpha is hiring key team members for a new B2B SaaS startup in Indianapolis. This position will be with High Alpha’s latest company, which is pre-public launch. You’ll work closely with the internal High Alpha team while reporting directly to the CTO. About this role:

As a Product Designer and an early team member, you'll be an influential customer advocate and will be instrumental in crafting elegant and impactful user experiences across our product portfolio. You will also play a significant role in shaping the culture of our team. Working closely with the CTO and engineering team, you’ll establish and maintain our early design systems and spearhead solution validation. You’ll also heavily influence our roadmap, feature scoping and prioritization, and participate in strategic and tactical product development activities.

• Help to develop the product roadmap, identify user personas, and craft workflows that inform elegant and delightful user experiences.
• Drive collaboration across the team to maintain a cohesive design and experience throughout the product portfolio.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation and systems.
• Conduct and analyze user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product marketing and other team members to craft compelling visuals and messaging.
• Present designs and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• Investigate new industry trends and technologies, helping to keep our teams at the leading edge of usability and accessibility.

• 3-5 years of professional experience within product development and UX design domains. 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep knowledge of user-centered design processes and methodologies.
• Experience creating high-fidelity designs in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Figma, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of user experience testing and analytics.
• Experience with mobile and web design and understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members and influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.

Compensation: While compensation varies based on experience, senior professionals should expect a salary between $115,00 - $125,000
