As a Product Designer on the eCommerce team, you'll explore and solve problems at the intersection of design and engineering. As a teammate, you will create and maintain shared UI assets in the Pluralsight Design System, which is used across the Pluralsight family of products and is focused on the foundational elements of all Pluralsight products: design tokens, core UI elements and accessibility.

What you'll own:

• Design and ship high-quality user interface components and patterns for use across multiple products; maintain and evolve our Figma web UI kit; ensure alignment with design system engineers at all times
• Drive updates and improvements to the design system based on brand alignment, user research (including your own), and product team feedback
• Advocate for accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Strong interest in learning and in continually improving how the consumers of our Design System use the system
• Create clear and concise documentation; articulate the why. Guide designers and engineers in their use of the design system
• Collaborate frequently with IT, Product, Engineering and Brand partners to ensure that we define and evolve a cohesive design language across the entire Pluralsight experience
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to identify and deliver key product experiences, whilst balancing continuous improvement of existing features
• Represent design and the voice of the customer in your product team
• Think holistically about our Product - how content and product fit together to provide a world class learning experience or our customers

Experience you'll need:

• 5+ years experience in Product Design, and a portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction and visual design skills
• The ability to think in systems and anticipate downstream effects of design decisions as well as how things fit together across a system
• Experience with (or a passion for) design systems and strong system-level thinking
• Understanding of accessibility standards and practices
• Humility and openness to act on design feedback in an iterative design process
• Collaborative work across functions and organizational boundaries
• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) is a huge plus
