Product Management Intern

The Basics: 

At Tanium, Product Management Interns have the opportunity to gain valuable, real-world experience in building B2B security focused applications. Working with a mentor in our product management team, you’ll be placed on a product team featuring projects vetted by our mentors. Over the course of the internship, supported by your mentor, and working with cross functional teams, you’ll build products and features used by our customers.   

What you’ll do: 

Product Management Interns will successfully lead a visible, valuable change to the product set. Past project examples include: 

• Improve an existing capability by understanding use cases, proposing improvements, driving execution, and reviewing results. 
• Integrate with an external system, such as a report export or a command import, addressing the use case, technical needs, enablement, and marketing.  

We’re looking for someone with:   

• Being fully authorized to work in the U.S. now and the future REQUIRED.  
• Availability to work full-time from June 12, 2023 – August 18, 2023. 
• Junior graduating year Spring 2024 or Fall 2023, currently enrolled at an undergraduate institution in computer science or a related degree program. 
• GPA of 3.5 or above REQUIRED. 
• Experience creating and finishing software development projects in backend and/or frontend languages. 
• Excited and driven to learn new technical skills. 
• Passionate about technology, software, and figuring out how things work. 
• Great communication skills and can collaborate with a team as well as work independently. 

Other helpful experience you may have: 

• Past internship is helpful but not required 
• GPA of 3.7 or above is helpful but not required 

All our interns are paid an hourly wage to work full-time for the duration of our internship.
