Job Description

T-Rex is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the decommissioning of a central system in concert with the deployment of replacement systems. This role is responsible for the success of the decommissioning in a controlled manner and the capture of all data in replacement systems.Ā  The candidate will work closely with government staff, product teams, integration team and testing team to manage migration of data and capability.Ā  Ā Ā Ā Ā

Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Technical Oversight: Plan and vet decommissioning approach with government stakeholders and gain approval for plans associated with decommissioning legacy system and migration of data to modernized systems
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Establish a collaboration approach to coordinate communications, expectations, and actions with the JOMIS ecosystem
  • Project Management: Manage the daily activities to maintain timelines and mitigate risks across design, engineering and operations
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all decommissioning activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation of decommissioned systems.
  • Monitor and analyze performance, customer feedback, and metrics to assess progress
  • Escalate concerns quickly and appropriately to government and program leadership
  • Think critically to solve problems quickly and effectively

Requirements:Ā 

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Health Informatics, or similar field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to set and execute a vision, strategy and/or plan
  • Experience with decommissioning, testing, migrating systems, and cutover to production
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsĀ 

Desired Skills:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar disciplineĀ 
  • Understanding of and experience with the JOMIS Operational Medicine environment and systems
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to decommissioning activities, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Experience ideveloping and implementing best practices for system decommissioning and contribute to the continuous improvement of related processes and procedures.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $175,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
