You’ll get to:

  • Collaboratively partner with other teams (engineering, design, support, etc.) early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead to delightful experiences to ship products/features with high velocity. 
  • Work with stakeholders to ruthlessly prioritize customer or product needs. Translate those needs into epics and user stories, and order backlog items to achieve goals. Do sufficient analysis to ensure requirements are ready to be worked on. 
  • Lead agile and scrum meetings to ensure development work is aligned with priorities. 
  • Tracks progress of tasks cross-functionally to see if they are on plan with committed delivery dates. Identifies potential roadblocks and/or dependencies. Communicates early and often to the broader team on progress and changes to delivery dates. 
  • Use real-world data (quantitative and qualitative) to make evidence-based decisions, from testing early concepts to prioritizing features. Measure the impact of work by ensuring that the right metrics are used to gauge success. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help shape product roadmap and provide input into product vision. 
  • Continuously improve processes and practices for product development. 

We welcome your talents and experience:

  • Strong knowledge of agile development practices (especially Scrum and/or Kanban), methodologies, and tools. Direct hands-on experience with writing user stories, and wireframes, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing 
  • Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization 
  • Strong technical background with Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Deep familiarity with Web and mobile technologies 
  • 3+ years of directly applicable experience as a product manager in a software organization preferred with experience in experimentation framework, product analytics, conversion rate optimization 
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills, Excellent communication and facilitation skills

  • Proficient in running in-depth interviews with customers to uncover latent needs 
  • Possess an experimenter's mindset and a framework for prioritizing features 
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics 
  • Human-centered design or design thinking and basic prototyping skill 
  • Experience working with nonprofits/charities or faith-based organizations is a plus
