Product Manager

As a Product Manager at AffiniPay, you will have the responsibility of owning and becoming a subject matter expert of all things across our brands (LawPay, CPACharge, ClientPay…).  Our end-to-end payment system is used by tens of thousands of professionals and organizations across a variety of industries, and processed more than $13B in 2021!  In this role you will lead some feature development of our flagship cloud-based applications, from roadmap to release by working hand in hand with our entire organization.
About Our Product Team:
Our Product Team sits on the intersection of the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Operations. We talk to customers to learn how to solve their problems while discovering opportunities for growth and innovation. We use design thinking and user experience focus while measuring our impact and proposing next steps based on data.
As a Product Manager, you should have previous experience owning products in a SaaS environment. You think holistically and enjoy the full lifecycle from strategy/concept to tactical execution. You enjoy learning, brainstorming and thrive when evaluating data to help drive decisions. You are adept at writing requirements that are thorough but also understandable by the development team.
Your day to day:

• You will own product management activities for some of the customer-facing features and components of our flagship cloud-based solutions.
• You will develop, get alignment, and communicate your product roadmap to executives and stakeholders.
• You will be the go-to-person for any question or communication related to your products.
• You will enable the organization to best use your product and its features.
• You will own our feedback channels with our direct customers.
• You will define and articulate new product requirements based on market intelligence and research, internal feedback, and one’s own understanding of our customer's needs.
• You will drive execution of the product by continuously guiding the development team and leading cross departmental go to market release plans
• You will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and senior leaders within the company.

• You have 2-3 years of demonstrated ability as a Product Manager working on SaaS products or at least 3 years of experience working on a payment SaaS product in a customer facing role/capacity.
• You have experience owning the full product lifecycle from initial research to hypothesis to strategy to tactical execution.
• You enjoy talking with customers and have experience learning from their pain points to discover new opportunities.
• You have the ability to prioritize requirements while making hard tradeoff decisions justified by data.
• You have experience working with Developers and know how to encourage and inspire them.
• You understand that saying no is as important as saying yes. You use data to explain decisions.
• You are familiar with the Lean Startup methodology and can apply some of its principle to your practice of product management
• You creatively come-up with ways to generate the data that will help you drive decisions.
• You have experience with UX and a perspective on what makes elegant, easy-to-use software.
• You understand how A/B testing and growth hacking can improve the UI/UX of your product
• You love a good brainstorming session where you collaborate with others to craft new ideas.
