Job Description

Teledyne ChartWorld and SevenCs was established with the desire to make commercial shipping safer and more efficient. The main areas of activity include the development of concepts for optimized digital route and voyage planning, the equipping of ships with digital navigation systems and charts as well as the installation of supplementary software products. Today, we are the market leader for ECDIS as a service, and a driver of digital navigation and automated voyage planning tools. The company operates from offices in Germany, Singapore, Cyprus, Canada and Japan.
We are looking for a Product Manager to be responsible for the development testing and support of navigation systems for ships, pilots and fleet management centers.

Your Tasks

The job covers an in-depth team working and the following responsibilities:

• Management of entire product life cycle of ChartWorld MyFleet for fleet management from planning to implementation. 

• Creation of development specifications and work assignments for software development teams involved.

• Management of related development projects.

• Improvement of workflow of navigational tasks within NavCloud eco system for both ChartWorld ECDIS and 3rd party ECDIS, including proposal for integration related work scope for related products.

• Development of work instructions and documentation.

• Support of QA Team with relevant procedures for monitoring, automatic and manual testing. Participation in sea trials.

• Software releases of MyFleet.

• 2nd level support for CW support team and B2B customers.

• Communications with our key clients and suppliers in the field of task

• Product related trainings, workshops, internal and external
