Position Overview

The Product Manager for Human Capital Management (HCM) will partner with the Autodesk People and Places Leadership (PPL) as well as Autodesk learning program COEs to define the next generation of HCM technology capabilities that will help transform and evolve talent and rewards management; enabling Autodesk to compete in the ever-evolving business climate.

The successful candidate is a proven Product Manager across enterprise learning and employee platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as consultative partner on all HCM capabilities, developing rich, influential and trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and constituents
  • Bring outside-in thinking to the organization, highlighting industry trends that should be considered and evaluated
  • Facilitate ideation and demand management for HCM technology space using design thinking methodologies
  • Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with People and Places leaders to understand their strategies, business processes, pain points and priorities to inform Autodesk HCM Platform Roadmap
  • Develop a multi-year HCM platform roadmap that when executed will deliver against the defined strategy-outcomes
  • Provide transparency into HCM roadmaps and manage stakeholders' expectations
  • Serve as an active partner and influencer as Autodesk re-envisions how work is done in the next stage of digital workforce. Contribute to outlining and shaping innovative technology solutions to support how our global workforce will operate in a hybrid virtual and physical world
  • Represent Autodesk to external parties in building long-term roadmaps and influencing products provided by Workday and other strategic technology partners in the HCM space
  • Work with geographically distributed People and Places stakeholders and HCM engineering teams to deliver on HCM roadmap
  • Provides input into future state skills needed for HCM engineering teams and shape the development of Internal Workday products and solutions to support Autodesk People and Places Organization
  • Navigate internal networks, build consensus and lead from all dimensions, as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise wide product management experience preferable in the employee / HCM domain
  • Understanding of global large scale Human Capital Management and Learning applications (Workday and Absorb are preferred) implementation expertise including Total Rewards, Recruiting-Onboarding, Learning & Development, Employee Experiences and Diversity & Inclusion
  • Inspires confidence with internal and external stakeholders with clear communication and expertise - a must
  • Proven ability to envision and deliver multiyear product HCM roadmap with clearly articulated and measurable outcomes
  • Proven success in product management lifecycle delivery (i.e. user story management, user journey development)
  • Proficiency with design thinking methodologies and user experience design
  • Experience in delivering persona-based offerings to ensure a rich, efficient, and flexible experiences
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software development lifecycle) and Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree: business, human resources, computer science, engineering; or equivalent work experience

  • You are a hands-on product management expert with demonstrated expertise in employee/HCM technology transformations and understanding the complexities of a global and diverse workforce

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,800 and $177,320. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
