Product Manager (Platform)

**Candidate Note: This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the US**

We are looking for a Product Manager who has experience driving forward complex technical products for enterprise-class data intensive products which will be essential to this role. This role will be focused on defining and launching key requirements for the platform infrastructure that powers EDB Postgres AI. Knowledge and experience working with different infrastructure providers is critical and knowledge of the data & analytics market would be ideal.

Your impact will be:

• Working cross-functionally within EDB across engineering design marketing sales and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle from ideation to production.

• Partnering closely with product managers working on our database analytics and AI offerings to ensure the platform infrastructure supports their workloads.

• Collaborating with partners focused on platform infrastructure and key integrations with our database products.

• Collaborating with product design and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.

• Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.

• Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.

• Bringing an inquisitive innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated success as a product manager for an infrastructure offering with enterprise customers.

• Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.

• Experienced in successfully delivering complex cross-company wide initiatives.

• Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.

• Solid understanding of database fundamentals (types uses and features of databases).

What will give you an edge:

• Technical undergrad degree preferred but not required.

• Familiarity and experience working with infrastructure platforms such as VMWare Dell IBM.

• Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem used/managed Postgres.

• Familiarity with open source and cloud technologies.

Comp Range (DOE/Location)=$140-175k max base + annual bonus
