The Sales and Partner Channels analytics team is looking for someone who can drive growth through data, process and technology solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager, thought leader, and motivated individual with great communication skills to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors. The candidate should have deep expertise and a proven track record in data democratization, ideally at a SaaS company. The Product Manager will be responsible for ideating and driving cross-functional requirements and execution for these initiatives with tight-knit collaboration between data scientists, functional leads, data analysts, and data engineers.
About the Role
  • Product Managers (PMs) for Data & Analytics sit at the intersection of Data, Technology, and Business. Sales & Channel PM will be responsible for creating a vision and formulating strategy for Sales data products to enable business outcomes. A person in this role will define product capability and own backlogs (epics, stories) with justification for trade-offs and prioritization decisions and earn buy-in from stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Provide regular two-way communication with senior management and internal customers regarding status, risks, mitigations, and change control.
  • Disrupt with positive and tangible business outcomes based on the latest industry trends, off-the-shelf solutions, subject matter expertise and thought leadership . Examples of outcomes include but are not limited to revenue retention and growth, churn management, seller productivity, deal velocity & scoring, attach rate, accurate booking and revenue forecasts, customer sat.
  • Ensure data products and capabilities are compliant with various local, state, and country specific data regulations .

About You
  • Product management experience taking large scale Sales & Channel initiatives from vision to product in data, working with large volumes & variety of data, cross functional technical/business teams, and systems.
  • Complete Sales life cycle experience - Connect, Engage, Convert, Retain in direct and partner ecosystem. Experience with systems and processes related to the Partner ecosystem, sales and partner commissions, revenue retention and growth, churn management and subscription management. Deep practical knowledge of industry standard Sales metrics, KPIs.
  • Has extensively used, integrated with, built data products on top of Salesforce, ZenDesk or similar enterprise CRM and other Sales and customer support systems.
  • Experience designing, and building Sales data products - analytics / data platforms / data lake / warehouse / predictive solutions.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle process (SDLC) and Agile methodology for iterative delivery.
  • Master's degree in Sales, Analytics, Economic, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years of total experience required. The experience needs to be both product management and data with a focus in Sales area:
    • 5+ years of technical hands-on experience in Sales analytics as a data analyst, engineer or data scientist.
    • 5+ years in a Sales product management role, preferably within a data science/engineering group.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, structured/unstructured data, and datastores (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
