Position Summary
The Product Marketing Campaign Manager is an integral member of the product marketing team, within the corporate marketing department. You will primarily be responsible for demand generation and campaign execution. As the Product Marketing Campaign Manager, you will support campaign strategies targeted to our higher education audience that drive growth and increase awareness for Jenzabar’s solutions and services.
This person is responsible for leading the execution of our marketing campaigns and ensuring they resonant with our targeted and addressable market. You will be responsible for taking our product marketing strategies, positioning, messaging, value proposition, solution bundling, and manage the marketing and campaign plans for new business as well as upsell/cross-sell.
The Product Marketing Campaign Manager will be part of cross-functional team efforts and must understand marketing objectives and tactics; be team-oriented, organized, and flexible; and possess strong writing, interpersonal communication, and project management skills. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate capabilities into benefits and value is crucial.
Essential Tasks
Full funnel responsibility – Craft and develop content in partnership with the MarComm team that will help drive demand generation to loyalty
- Strategize and fulfill key product marketing tactics such as developing sessions and presentation material, case studies, thought leadership events, webinar needs, content ideas and outlines for sales enablement, and content that support campaign plans
- Maintain and manage a holistic, portfolio campaign calendar based on solution, product, and persona-based campaigns
Demand generation – Manage the marketing programs that drive awareness and demand across the Jenzabar solution ecosystem in partnership with the MarComm team
- Execute on internal and external go-to-market strategies, product launches, and marketing campaigns
- Ensure campaigns are executed to align the target audience with the product positioning, messaging, and overall campaign plan to achieve desired goals
- Manage the creation of assets and activities to support demand generation and sales enablement
- Understanding of various marketing channels and tactics, how they work together in an integrated approach, and how to best orchestrate impactful, targeted campaigns
- Analyze results to offer feedback and insights to inform future plans and tactics. Proactively identify gaps or missed opportunities and adjust strategy accordingly
Brand positioning – Thoroughly understand the Jenzabar brand and promote it in all outbound artifacts
Market knowledge – Understand higher education and the intricacies of market problems plaguing this space and understand how our products and services can provide solutions. Understand buyer personas and how to best reach them.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications
- 6+ years of B2B technology marketing campaign management and/or product marketing experience
- Higher education industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people and collaboration skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Diligent work ethic and strong organizational skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple campaigns running at the same time
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Bachelor's degree
