How you can make a difference 

  • Build out the vision and structure of an emerging Product Ops team.  
  • Bring technology to life by closing the gap between makers and users of technology products
  • Design processes with product, infrastructure and engineering teams
  • Partner directly with end users (patients and internal constituents) to represent, address and resolve their needs
  • Participate in feature design and work collaboratively with implementation, product management and engineers on execution 
  • Build and modify internal tools and processes to promote efficiency & scalability across product & engineering

Skills for success 

  • A real passion for making an impact in healthcare, specifically where technology meets care
  • Natural ability to understand technology at a "super user plus" level and explain solutions to multiple audiences
  • Strong sense of ownership and empowerment to drive cross-functional improvements for the user experience
  • Bias for action, no task too small and getting stuff done attitude
  • ERP/EHR implementation, Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, or other relevant technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with leaders, customers, and team members
  • A talent for establishing and executing on a clear, concise vision
  • A creative and open-minded approach to problem solving
  • Orientation to detail and a commitment to excellence in technical pursuits
  • A low ego and humility; an ability to gain trust by doing what you say you will do 

The following experience is relevant to us:

  • 6+ years application support, product launch, implementation, system administration, or other related work  
  • 4+ years’ experience working across multiple engineering teams 
  • 3+ years leading, coaching and building product operations teams w/ an eye towards customer success
  • Experience leading delivery, technology or support operations teams
  • Ability to drive decision making on the focused product within team and amongst a wide set of constituents
  • Experience building relationships throughout the org to ensure value is delivered for our patients, care teams and operational groups
  • BS/MS in related fields 

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $170,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
