The Role
- The fundamental goal of Product Operations is to streamline and improve the product lifecycle process increasing efficiency, helping to improve quality and impact of products for our customers and improving customer engagement. Product Operations works closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, test, rollout and iterate on products.
- Reporting to the Sr Director of Product Management, the Product Operations Manager will be deeply passionate and knowledgeable about outcome driven product development methodologies and frameworks. You will own the Product Operations roadmap and communicate the vision and direction for Bloomerang’s product processes. Your customers will be a variety of internal constituents, including Executives, the Product Management and UX teams, the cross-functional Development teams, the Product Documentation team, Product Marketing and other business partners across the company.
- You are analytical focused on data and wildly passionate about using data to make timely and informed business decisions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing product data to support product managers decision making and increase efficiency (helping the team to innovate quickly, and ultimately build better, more impactful products.)
- Developing product metrics/KPI strategy working with product analysts and collaborating with the product team to set targets and thresholds for those metrics
- Player/coach to develop product reporting and dashboards to drive insights from product data
- Managing team of product analysts and technical writers
- Manage user feedback tooling to gather and analyze requests, opinions, and suggestions to improve the product.Â
- Manage, improve and streamline product communications between product teams to other parts of the organization including gathering of data inputs from other teams Â
- Standardize processes such as planning and reporting to facilitate product development.
- Drive cross-functional, audience-specific product content strategy (including product documentation, training, videos, in product guides, help center,etc).
- Become an expert in the product tech stack/tools used by the Product team and ensure effective use of the tools.
- Support sales and marketing go-to-market activities.Â
- Participate in the definition and execution of Product Led Growth (PLG) strategy and tactics.
- Maintain and update documentation on processes, tools usage, guidelines, and other internal product development process related material.
- Champion continuous improvement; identify opportunities and make recommendations.
- Facilitate recurring meetings, product workshops, brainstorming sessions, etc.  Â
What Does It Take
- 5+ years of experience in software product management, program management, product analytics or project management, in a SaaS company.
- 2+ years team management experience
- Demonstrated success in company-wide alignment and change management for organizations of 200+ employees.
- Experience creating and managing product content.
- Experience with product tech stack tools such as Pendo and Jira.
- Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional product teams to adopt frameworks that prioritize value to customers/users.
- Ability to partner with and align with stakeholders across the business such as marketing, Support, Sales and Customer Success.
- Experience at companies that employ modern product management & software development techniques and tools.
- Ability to make decisions based on combined qualitative and quantitative data
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities at a fast pace.
- Confluence authoring experience strongly preferred; administrator experience helpful
- Familiarly with established product discovery and design frameworks is desired
- Proven experience improving processes and driving efficiencies
- Natural bias toward action; highly independent
- Travel: Approximately 10-15%. Team meetings; customer, prospect and partner meetings; industry events and conferences.

This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.Â
