Duties:
â—Ź Manage operations support for the payments product team.
â—Ź Manage tactical work and identify and implement operations improvements to enable Guild to
scale while providing outcomes consistent with our mission.
â—Ź Handle intake for all payment ops escalated issues, including daily triage, issue research, data
validation, resolution or further escalation to engineering and product management, and
documentation of the outcome for each reported issue.
â—Ź Identify common root causes for issues and document potential future development which could
mitigate them.
â—Ź Manage business optimization projects from discovery to completion. Monitor and manage the
scope, schedule, and timeline of projects ranging in size and duration.
â—Ź Provide technical expertise and input on solutions.
â—Ź Identify opportunities for automation, including build or buy analysis to evaluate cost and risk of
designing and developing internal solutions against third-party solutions, such as Robotic Process
Automation (RPA).
â—Ź Identify when needs, vision, and/or proposed solutions are in conflict between teams or with the
broader goals of the company, and find methods to resolve them.
â—Ź Multi-task and practice excellent time management in a dynamic landscape which involves
multiple, simultaneous asks from many stakeholders.
â—Ź Create and maintain documentation through a business-centric lens that is highly detailed but
intended audience is a lay person within the business, including: Workflow overviews (e.g.,
diagrams, integrations, data flows, triggers, decision points, error handling); Workflow
optimization opportunities; Reporting and analysis support, including periodic and year-end
reporting; Support the product release lifecycle, including user acceptance testing, assisting with
product announcements and release notes, and playing a supporting role in sprint planning/work
prioritization for Payments Product and Engineering squads.

This job is remote and may be performed in any of the following 28 states or districts: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. Employee may reside in any of these 28 states or districts.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a technical project management, business systems program management (technical operations role).

Two years of required experience must include: Robotic process automation (RPA); Using work management tools such as JIRA, Shortcut, or Rally; Working with SQL and Uipath.

All required experience may have been gained concurrently.

This job is remote and may be performed in any of the following 28 states or districts: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. Employee may reside in any of these 28 states or districts. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a technical project management, business systems program management (technical operations role).

The five years of required experience must be post-baccalaureate and progressive, and must include: Robotic process automation (RPA); Using work management tools such as JIRA, Shortcut, or Rally; Working with SQL and Uipath. All required experience may have been gained concurrently.
