HID's Product Management Department

PKI & IoT product line provides trusted identities for people, places, and things. It is one of the fastest growing product areas and innovating at a rapid pace. We serve industries such as U.S. Federal, State, and Local Governments, Healthcare, Banking and Finance, and Enterprises. We provide millions of certificates and billions of certificate validations every year.

As our Product Owner, you'll support HID's success by:

• Acting as a customer relationship owner and understand customer, partner and stakeholder needs.

• Working in close collaboration with the product manager, scrum master, development, program management and operation teams
• Building business cases and driving engineering to address customer needs.
• Owning the product stories, backlog, prioritization, and drive roadmap.
• Conducting market and competitive research for the validation of product portfolio opportunities and initiatives.

What we will love about your background:

• Product owner or Product management background and experience, preferably within Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) or Cryptography.
• Being aware of Agile and SAFe development methodologies will be a definite plus.
• Experience working in global teams and matrix organizations.
• Customer service attitude.

Your Experience and Education include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience as a product manager or product owner in delivering and deploying Cloud, Software-as-a-Service, or Enterprise software products and/or solutions.
• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) or Scrum Agile.
• Preferably experience of public key infrastructure or cryptography.
• SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe® PMPO) certificate is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.
• Know your way around modern communication tools such as Microsoft Teams.
• Familiar with Atlassian JIRA is a definite plus.
