Job Description
Responsibilities:
This role is an intermediary on requirements primarily btw product management and the production team (engineering, QA, and docs).
Handles tactical responsibilities of translating market requirements into EPICS, User-stories, and work with engineering to provide required use-case details and information for effective implementation of features.
Use of Confluence, Jira and Aha! Tools to document the Requirements (technical and non-technical) and ensure clarity to engineering teams.
Validates product direction by interacting with a broader PM team to overcome ambiguity and uncertainty during product development and communicate well to internal stakeholders.
Works closely with PM leaders and development teams to develop and maintain accurate feature backlog and build roadmap for future releases.
Writes Agile product requirements through customer journey workflows expressed in the form of user stories, research and investigate essential data to complete the user-story for meaningful feature implementation.
Requirements:
1. Must have a strong desire to take ownership of the requirement grooming and communication with internal stakeholder such as engineering, cloud-ops, ops, supply-chain etc.
2. Strong knowledge of Agile fundamentals, theory, and practical experience from a product management/product owner perspective
3. Provide backlog management and support for sprint planning for a release; offer leadership and direction and remove obstacles to ensure the team members have all the guidance to successfully execute the strategy
4. Self-starter with ability to effectively communicate the problem statement.
5. Ability to develop rapport with the relevant internal teams and ensure use-case clarity to engineering teams.
6. Deep knowledge and experience in understanding Cybersecurity requirements necessary to successfully implement a complex SaaS or PaaS solution including a strong appreciation for understanding security, data, and business usage requirements
Demonstrated ability to drive requirement definition and solution design sessions, working closely with stakeholders across the entire organization and with developer
1. Gather requirements across diverse areas and users, converting, and developing them into a product solution
2. Relevant experience or knowledge of public cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies is required.
3. Development experience in UI/UX projects is highly desirable.
4. Demonstrable track- record of success and execution
5. Proven analytical skills to understand metrics and comfortable with data.
6. Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within and across department teams spread globally.
8. Growth mindset with desire to learn and biased towards action in the face of uncertainty.
9. Need little or no supervision to carry out the job responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
1. Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 year’s experience; or equivalent experience.
Preferences:
Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering, Quantitative field, or equivalent degree
