Product XR Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product XR Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and will be able to apply these principles to the design of XR products. A Designer will be responsible for leading the design of XR products from concept to launch.

Progressive team: you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative, user-friendly products.

Together We Will:

• Manage the product design lifecycle from concept to launch;
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create innovative and user-friendly products;
• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure that products meet the needs of users;
• Stay up-to-date on the latest XR technologies and trends;
• Create artifacts such as wireframes, user flows, functionality specs, prototypes, and high-fidelity design;
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders;
• Provide constructive and thoughtful feedback that creates a safe space to freely ideate and collaborate;
• Be curious, open, positive, collaborative, and empathetic.

Requirements

What We Will Need:

• 2+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on VR;
• Foundational knowledge and experience using UX principles and UCD (user-centered design) methodologies;
• Experience with a variety of XR technologies, including VR, AR, and MR;
• Experience designing and integrating elements from the Adobe Creative Suite or other compositing packages;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Presentation skills, able to explain conceptual ideas and designs;
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and experience.

Would Be a Plus:

• Experience in product design, with a focus on XR;
• General understanding of Unity programming for designing UX and developer communication.
