Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our Professional Services Group. In this role, you will manage professional development events throughout the planning process. The position requires meeting customers virtually or by phone to understand their goals and plan in-person and virtual professional development events. Applicants should have Early Childhood and/or Elementary education experience, as well as knowledge of education best practices and experience with various assessments, curricula and early learning education standards and initiatives. The ideal applicant also has robust problem-solving skills and is detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Â
A day on the job looks like this:Â
- Owning communications with customers to plan professional development events based on customer needs; communicating all Lakeshore offerings as necessary
- Supporting multiple professional development projects through the planning lifecycle
- Managing and updating Salesforce records and Outlook with customer and event information
- Creating professional development proposalsÂ
- Partnering with our Bid department for professional development bids, when applicableÂ
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldÂ
- Prior experience in early educationÂ
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems a plusÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Outstanding customer service skillsÂ
- Must possess a strong professional work ethicÂ
- Exceptional organization and operational skills to include managing multiple simultaneous projects, tight deadlines, calendars and various forms of communication (email, phone calls, Microsoft Teams)Â
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with online presentation platformsÂ

- Hourly: $27.88 - $32.69Â with an annual bonus of up to 10%
