The Professional Services Team:

The Professional Services team at JW Player is in charge of creating innovative solutions to allow clients, new and established, to better use our products. With thousands of enterprise media companies using JW Player every day, Professional Services builds bridges to connect our clients' complex workflows and architectures to JW Player's platforms.

The Opportunity:

The Head of Professional Services is a crucial member of the management team, tasked with one of the most exciting challenges within JW Player. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a services portfolio that spans from custom technical integrations to consultancy services, aimed at helping media companies to build their video workflows with the building blocks provided by JW Player. The role provides the opportunity to work with a team of Project Managers, Solutions Architects and a full engineering team to deliver high potential solutions across JWP's global customer basis.

As the Head of Professional Services you will:

• Build, manage and scale a portfolio of services including value positioning, scope of services, collateral and pricing
• Take leadership for a team of senior contributors with multiple roles to deliver on the team's objectives
• Manage components of the Professional Services practice, such as Statement of Work templates, estimates and support procedures, internal team practices
• Interact on a daily basis with the other field teams to scope new projects, manage existing deployments, decide on what new projects to take on
• Work side-by-side with the VP of Technical Services and with the rest of management to implement Professional Services in line with the company strategy
• Collaborate with JW Player's Product teams to create innovation that can potentially grow in the Product portfolio.
• Design the commercial framework for running Professional Services at scale
• Manage the technical deliverables of the team with a roadmap, shared with few key stakeholders

Requirements for the role:

• At least 5 years of management experience in a technical sales, solutions, technical consultancy/delivery or project management capacity
• Proven experience in working between technical, operational and commercial teams, in a fast growing, high-intensity environment
• Ability to understand and run a team with multiple roles, with the aim of creating processes to handle projects from different perspectives (design, manage, develop, deploy, support)
• Technical acumen to understand how to position new potential services, to quickly take decisions on what would the team work on
• Excellent understanding of the media landscape (OVP, advertising, OTT, and more)

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience in a similar role for OVP / Media Technology companies
• Experience with managing commercial SKUs

Interview Process:

1. Recruiter Screen
   • 15-30 minute conversation with a Recruiter to learn more about your background and interests
2. Hiring Manager Screen
   • 30-45 minute conversation where the Hiring Manager or someone from the team deep dives into your experience
3. First/Team Interview
   • 1 hour interview where you meet with various team members across the organization
4. Final Interview
   
   • 1 hour interview where you will meet with some of our senior leaders
