Your Impact
We are searching for a Program Coordinator to work for a leading company in smart weapons, public safety, hardware and advanced software /SaaS solutions for law enforcement agencies on a national and global level.
The SaaS Program Coordinator will be responsible for working directly under the Professional Software Services Team and will be tasked with customer onboarding and program initiation for Axon Records Management (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) implementations. This role will be an integral part in the deployment of technical solutions to Public Safety clients. The Program Coordinator must have strong program management and leadership skills, software implementation experience, and knowledge of public safety operations and processes. Additionally, the ability to work with customers, sales, product, engineering, and software services leaders to support the deployment of complex technical solutions within business timelines is critical.


What You’ll Do

Location: Remotely from U.S. and on the road 30% of time
Reports to: Director, Program Management
Direct Reports: 0

  • Coordinates the program initiation of new SaaS product deployments, including stakeholder identification, facilitation of pre-kickoff meeting cadence, and initial environment setup
  • Partner with customers to complete confirmation of scope, including macro-level product requirements and third-party integrations
  • Conduct initial product demonstrations to key program stakeholders to establish a baseline product knowledge
  • Ensures overall health of program queue, ensuring pre-kickoff implementation timelines and milestones are met
  • Works closely with customers, sales, product, engineering, and software services leaders to define the vision, scope, and delivery timelines for project deliverables
  • Supports work estimation process in support of program planning activities
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and detail-orientation, while maintaining consistent lines of communication with all teams involved in each project
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technical Engineering (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development) or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience participating in deployment efforts for complex programs in a SaaS environment
  • Previous public safety experience strongly desired
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification strongly desired
  • Experience utilizing technical program/project management tracking tools to ensure project tracking and completion
  • Experience delivering and/or participating in a large software deployment, infrastructure or enterprise applications programs
  • Ability to effectively manage and handle multiple congruent/ simultaneous projects at the same time
  • Strong communication, organization, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 90,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 90,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 140,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
