The F-35 Training and Logistics market segment within the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business in Rotary and Mission Systems seeks well-qualified applicants for a Program Manager position.

Reporting to the F-35 Training Development and Modernization Senior Program Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing Pilot Training Device capability development. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure training devices stay concurrent with the F-35 air vehicle through its continuous development of advanced capabilities while modernizing the training architectures.

The position is responsible for:

* Cost, schedule, and technical performance of content within the release.

* Overseeing day-to-day execution and integration of scope required for the next release of software, infrastructure and hardware.

* Managing staffing demand, risks and opportunities, process improvement initiatives, and common execution metrics.

* Shaping the F-35 Training modernization portfolio to ensure affordability and cost reductions continue to be driven into the business.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams• Proven program management experience• Proven track record of leading development programs including multiple subcontractors.• Experience managing complex Software Intensive Systems development from concept to fielding with hand over to Sustainment.• Experience in EVMS, negotiations, and performance metrics.• Strong Presentation Skills• Be willing and able to travel (both domestic and international) as required.• Must have at a minimum an active Secret Clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years with ability to obtain Secret SAR clearances

Desired skills

• Possess strong working knowledge of pilot and maintenance training device architectures and the development process involved in creating such devices• Program Manager level 1 certified• Former development engineering background (systems, Software, I&T ideally)• Program Management experience with DevSecOps and Agile development• Knowledge of F-35 Program including knowledge of fifth generation• Experience working with international and military customers

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $123,500 - $236,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
