Program Manager (AI/ML)

Rackner is a fast-growing government contractor focused on end-to-end application development, DevSecOps, AI/ML, edge compute, and systems architecture, wrapped up in a methodology focused on cloud-first and cost-effective innovation. 

Title: Program Manager (AI/ML)

Location: Remote with some travel, including D.C. Area, Customer Sites, and events.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strong cross-functional candidate to join our team targeting a large upcoming $100 million AI/ML program. Some aspects of the role include: helping at all stages of the program lifecycle from capture to team building to running the full program. The ideal candidate is extremely passionate about the space, has a technical background, and has led large teams within the federal government, in either a full time capacity or in a leadership position at a government contractor.

Essential Functions:

• Lead ~$100 million AI/ML program

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

• Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of IT Project Management experience, focusing on agile projects.
• Shall have at least two (2) years specialized experience in leading IT DevSecOps projects with a minimum of managing fourteen (14) twelve (12) person Agile team(s).
• Shall have at least three (3) years specialized experience in business process analysis and change management.
• Have demonstrated experience in executing agile programs with AI/ML.
• Shall have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience.

Requisite Skills/Abilities:

• Technical background of some kind is a big plus
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD patterns
• Experience with programs that use applied AI techniques
