THE ROLE

The Program Management team at Cosm oversees the on-time delivery of our technology products which deliver best-in-class experiences for our customers. We are looking for a talented Program Manager to drive projects, facilitate meetings, be a servant leader with exceptional communication and coordination skills to support our product development and engineering teams. They are responsible for facilitating solutions, removing obstacles, and shielding the team from interruptions to assist the team with meeting their delivery goals.

We are seeking a passionate, hands-on and well-rounded Program Manager to lead and support various fast-growing projects for our Digistar and CX Engine programs.

You can execute and deliver successfully in situations with respectful authority. Interaction and leadership across functional lines is critical. You will work with various leads to implement the right processes, and will be responsible for managing and supporting project delivery.

Reports to: VP Program Management

Location: Salt Lake City, UT preferred

Office schedule: On site or hybrid preferred

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Design teams for completion of tasks, status reporting, schedules, scope, risk assessment and resource requirements, etc.
• Develop and collaborate on detailed project plans, project scopes and objectives.
• Support the communication needs of the product teams, stakeholders and delivery teams with internal tools for knowledge sharing, document retention and governance.
• Lead Sprint daily stand-ups and contribute to other Sprint ceremonies across multiple projects.
• Manage relationships and communication with Project stakeholders, senior management and other project contributors. Help identify key barriers to a project's success and support in actively managing mitigation activities.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Maintain and improve the project management tool (JIRA) and project dashboards.
• Contribute to strategic decisions with Program, Product, Design and Engineering teams.
• Facilitate meetings with team members across different disciplines in multiple times zones.
• Promote Team spirit and engagement.
• Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Push the limits, try new approaches, take calculated risks, swing for the fences and proactively search for the best solutions and ideas in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience of planning, tracking and monitoring using Agile Principles across multi-disciplinary teams including Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and IT.
• 5+ years proven work experience in managing complex projects for the full lifecycle.
• Agile Scrum / Kanban experience is mandatory and PMI/PMP is a plus.
• Experience utilizing JIRA (and similar tools) to create Scrum boards, backlogs, dashboards, and reports.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing software applications. Hardware experience is a plus.
• Extra credit for project experience in CMS
