As a Program Manager (Senior), you’ll lead IT programs, manage SLA’s and deliver mission critical solutions with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:Â
- Develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships while maintaining lines of communication and delivery with government contracts and contracts technical representative staff.
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work (leverage organization resources to improve capacity for project work, and interview, select, develop and evaluating team members).
- Define project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for technical project management.
- u=Use team building to promote the empowerment of the team and ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution (encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team).
- Manage project financials and supporting contract documents to ensure a healthy project gross margin, appropriate staff utilization, funding and contracts paperwork, invoicing and payments, budge to actual variances, financial and staffing projections, estimate to complete and estimate at completion, project management review reporting, and, if appropriate, earned-value reporting.
- Prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of project team and completion of assignments while evaluating, prioritizing, and managing the impacts of project scope changes.
- Collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements while escalating project risks to the appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders.
- Report to a MetroStar Director or Vice President who will provide support, guidance, information, and resources to help you be successful.
What you’ll need to succeed:Â
- 10 years of IT Project Management experience, focusing on agile projects, and 2 years of specialized experience in leading IT DevSecOps projects with a minimum of managing 14,12 person Agile team(s).
- 3 years of specialized experience in business process analysis and change management, along with demonstrated experience in executing agile programs with AI/ML and managing large complex programs for Federal customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills (mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building) and experience strategizing, planning, leading organizing, and motivating a project delivery team.
- Experience monitoring and managing the financials and staffing of an IT program.Â
- Demonstrated ability to determine and implement improvements for a program to achieve quality, and customer excellence.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability
