Project Engineer

Glass & GlazingProject Engineer AAC Glass, Inc. is one of the leading architectural glass and glazing contractors in the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently looking for a highly-motivated and dedicated Project Engineer available immediately to join our team. Desired Candidate Qualifications: • Must have sufficient experience in the commercial construction industry • Experience in understanding bid documents and determining scope of work • Proficiency in understanding and translating construction plans and specifications • Ability to generate accurate take-offs • Excellent problem solving skills • Ability to multi-task and adapt to various situations prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously Job Responsibilities: • Direct and oversee project from conception to completion • Compile and plan budgets and cost estimates • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Maintain accurate and organized project files including change orders, RFI’s, submittals, addenda, etc. • Correspond with general contractors and vendors Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • On call • Overtime • Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: • Bonus opportunities Ability to commute/relocate: • Hayward, CA 94544: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: • Construction: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
