Job Description
This Project Manager will support the global Customer Experience (CX) Lab tools and CX Labs innovation teams for Customer Experience Labs (CX). You will be responsible for not only gathering and analyzing data but convert that data into actionable insight with distinct prescriptive guidance on how to optimize or improve lab tools. You will manage the analytics behind Customer Experience lab data and part of a team forming a strategy to optimize lab resources and customer experience. Strategy will be communicated and driven at a senior level, and you will track team projects to drive initiatives and change throughout the organization. You will provide periodic reviews of the tools and deliverables to leadership, offering prescriptive recommendations to implement or invest in certain behaviors to produce a desired outcome.
This role will also serve as organizing and running software development planning meetings with lead developers to prioritize features and bugs, develop and maintain EPICs using JIRA. In addition to planning this PM will track development progress and provide weekly status to leadership.
This role will provide the following services:

- You will interface across multiple organizations, including tools team, CX lab operations and CX lab users and technical architects and determine feasible goals, deliverables, tasks, cost, and deadlines for each project and document the plan.
Once the scope is agreed upon by stakeholders own the resource planning phase:
- Check for necessary resources availability for each project to complete tasks
- Gather information from specific lab teams on their needs for their infrastructure setup or prerequisite requirements for new tool adoption
- Determine the cost/benefit of proposed ideas and ability to plan for implementation of ideas within a budget range
- Create and maintain project folders in a collaborative space (SharePoint) for the team to use and manage view and edit privileges
- Track plan progress
Ongoing Team Project Management
- Define, schedule, and accurately estimate the task duration for realistic scheduling
- Sync up with individual project teams (tools, infrastructure, virtualization, and automation) for regular updates on tasks
- Assign responsibilities and roles based on task and lab team needs
- Schedule meetings
- Plan timeline and SLAs
- Keep track of major caveats that might arise during the planning/implementation of proposed tasks
- Plan for possible risks and caveats that might occur during the task
- Gather detailed reports on the caveats and potential fixes/work-around
- Lead the development planning sessions and track deliverables
- Familiar with Agile framework
- Schedule and lead bi-weekly Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective with development leads.
- Proficient in JIRA project management tool able to organize tickets into sprints as determined by leads.
- Track and measure project/team progress
- Identify, track, and manage project risk
- Deliver administrative services for the project
Communication to stakeholders
- Keep detailed reports on progress, issues, and other factors during the planning, implementation, and completion of tasks
- Take detailed meeting notes and action items and upload to the designated location
- Document all approvals, and consensus and upload to the designated location

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
