Project Manager, Boomi PMO

Join us as a Project Management Advisor on our Boomi PMO Team leading large cross-departmental projects to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve
You will play a key role in running projects that engage various roles across the organization to deliver outcomes that innovate, transform, and sustain change that delivers value. You’ll execute strategies to meet business objectives, deliver on time, and stay within budget. You’ll ensure plans are aligned by engaging with fellow employees across the entire global organization. Your projects will transform peoples’ roles and responsibilities, business processes, systems, and technology. You will be creating and implementing transition management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and overcome resistance.  Plus, you’ll join a growing team of other Project Managers, working with you to collaborate on difficult challenges; to build our skills, tools and methodologies; and to grow the data-driven decision making mindset of the Boomi organization.  

Responsibilities:
Assessing organizational cultures, capabilities, and alignment to effectively tailor transition management approaches
Supporting execution of initiatives by:
Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies
Aligning leaders and all impacted roles 
Assessing the effectiveness of communication and training and overall organization alignment for transition
Documenting issues that arise and creating paths to resolve them
Developing interventions to improve alignment
Developing effective approaches for sustaining and realizing goals following implementation
Managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
Monitor project portfolio, identify early indicators for risks and issues, and drive ownership of mitigation plans as necessary
Contributing to the ongoing development of project management and delivery methodology and tools in collaboration with others on the PMO team

Essential Requirements
3+ years of experience in project management or related field, serving as a project lead who creates the environment for collaboration and motivates teams to action
Talent to influence stakeholders, sales makers, leaders, and project team members without positional authority
Dexterity to effectively and diplomatically manage varying personalities and align those personalities to common goals and action plans through excellent facilitation
Excellent listener, exceptional written and oral communication with people of all levels
The initiative required to work in a minimally structured environment, ant to bring useful practices to provide appropriate structure
Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and ability to critically and analytically analyze data and details and translate them into the big picture view
Ability to build trust and rapport 
Aptitude to identify improvements to existing workflows and deliverables
Deftness and flexibility to multitask in a dynamic environment
Ability to innovate in a minimally structured environment, while bringing useful practices to help provide appropriate structure
Capability to work across different time zones (EMEA, US, APJ)

Desirable Requirements
Understanding of SaaS business concepts; iPaaS market knowledge a plus
Project management related certification
An Agile mindset: delivering value incrementally and iteratively
