What you'll do:
Responsible for corporate long-term planning across Torc that includes supporting corporate roadmap planning, departmental roadmap planning, and non-product development. Responsible for providing project management between assigned departments, projects, and stakeholders to understand and articulate requirements and priorities. Create dashboards or metrics, track dependencies, identify and drive process improvements, and manage risks to drive program efficiency.
- Supports and drives continuous improvement in long-term planning processes by collecting and synthesizing feedback from applicable stakeholders.
- Works with other business areas to help identify, plan, and implement business best-practices that serve to bring about long-term organizational maturity
- Facilitate communication across groups, address all concerns, and drive decision-making to move corporate planning processes forward in a timely manner.
- Identify, determine, and lead discussions when issues need to be analyzed or triaged.Â
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or other undergraduate degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification in PMI, Agile, Scrum, SAFe or similar project management certification
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in project management and team building.
- Experience and familiarity with managing finance-based projects that traverse multiple areas across the organization
- Ability to work with and generate execution plans out of operational teams not accustomed to generating long-term plans that bring about organizational maturity
- Ability to work and collaborate across locations over different time zones.
Bonus Points!
- Experience in autonomous software industry and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities for self-driving technology is a plus.
- Experience with roadmap and backlog management tools are a plus (e.g. JIRA, SmartSheet)
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plusÂ
