Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Technical Project Manager to add to our team. This role will provide direct oversight and management of a complex application modernization project involving multiple subcontractors and vendors, and engagement with executive stakeholders. Required skills include Agile Project Management, IT service delivery management, and IT tactical and strategic planning.

The role:

In this role, we are looking for someone with expertise in Agile Project Management that will guide teams in delivering on client contracts and translate needs into powerful solutions. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with demonstrated experience developing and maintaining customer required methodologies, procedures, metrics and systems to produce reports to measure program success. To succeed in this role, one must be collaborative, forward thinking, and have exceptional communication skills.

 The Project Manager at STS will:

  • Communicate with diverse customer stakeholder groups, including executive management, and require consensus building
  • Deliver using an Agile approach with an emphasis on automation, MVP’s, and end user/business user engagement
  • Lead cross-functional, multi-vendor teams
    • Interface with numerous cross-functional teams about their upcoming tasks
    • Explore challenges and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and solutions
  • Provide deep and thorough review of client requirements in support of team recommendations, as well as solutioning and product development
  • Foster collaboration with analysts, designers, and/or developers on research activities, strategy sessions, ideation, design, and product testing
  • Manage ongoing external and internal relationships and generate new strategic opportunities and scope expansion on the assigned contract(s)
  • Present project status reports and facilitate product demos for our team and clients
  • Assist in the design and execution of usability tests, analysis of results, and creation of finding and recommendations documentation including user stories, presentations, and reports
  • Manage complex spend plans and ensure program aspects are operating within established budgets
  • Successful implementation and turn-up of customer network solutions
  • Direct interface to the customer and STS senior leadership on service related issues
  • Manage required escalations to address customer service delivery issues
  • Lead regular meetings between cross-functional business teams to review new program requests (intake), assess business purpose and benefits and ultimately determine overall business priority
  • Establish and maintain a firm understanding of the Client’s IT infrastructure
  • Maintain routine performance reporting, meeting cadence and feedback loop with Client, Stakeholders, and Management, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and as needed
  • Maintain a technical ‘Strategic Plan’ including initiative identification, recommendations, prioritization, scoping and establishing next steps to move them forward
  • Assist with Vendor and Asset Management
  • Constantly assess Client sentiment and feedback to identify areas for focus and improvement 

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical, scientific or analytical discipline
  • A minimum of five (5) years of position related experience is required
  • Contact center technology experience is required
  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions with team members and clients to align user wants, client needs, technical level of effort, and timelines
  • Budgeting and forecasting of renewals and strategic initiatives
  • Providing continuous improvement of Client service delivery processes, documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assessing and mitigating operational risks and issues

Preferred

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Agile certification (eg. CSCM, SAFe)
  • Experience managing an application modernization project
