This is a remote first position that has travel expectations related to any current integration project. Will be expected to travel to the respective practice site location for various meetings, planning, tours, and during the integration go-live and post go-live as necessary.
Major Responsibilities:
- Project management duties related to practice integration (Planning, Implementing & Monitoring)
- Collaborate with all departments to create a manageable workplan to integrate soon to be acquired practices into the organization.
- Coordinates and collaborates with support departments on their scope of work and ensures execution and timing meet the project plan needs.
- Provide excellent analytical skills to maximize efficient practice integration. Work with acquisition and operation teams, and other service departments to track timeliness of tasks to ensure effective start date with AAMG. Track project deliverables.
- Monitor acquired physician practice's progress on closing checklist "to ensure timeliness and efficient" on-boarding to AMG. Observes current private practice processes to begin to plan for training and introduction of AAMG standards and standard operating procedures prior to transition.
- Develop and execute, in collaboration with operations, action plans based on observations and information to assure a solid transition during all phases of integration. (pre, during, and post go-live) Identify and remove barriers to stay on course.
- Work directly with operations leaders and practice representatives to ensure participation and engagement of physician practice associates and their team. Additionally, coordinates with current AAMG operations leadership assuming responsibility for new group and/or individual clinicians and staff at both new locations and consolidation within existing AAMG locations. Provides support to cultural integration and represents the Advocate Health behaviors that support helping people to live well.
- Maintains practice integration checklist to ensure all onboarding activities are completed.
- Executes on the tasks identified in the integration workplan by the established due date while keeping all involved informed.
- Work with practice operations and talent acquisition consultant as it pertains to the Advocate Experience to ensure smooth transition into the organization.
- Ensures there is a smooth hand off to practice operations. Conducts 30-, 60-, and 90-day post go-live follow up.
- Communication, training, tracking and reporting.
- Report on status of action plan, in conjunction with acquisition and operation teams and alert key stakeholders if projects are in jeopardy of not meeting deadlines.
- Monitors client expectations and maintains positive and collaborative working relationships with all levels of leadership and teammates.
- Ensures the timely completion of work and/or projects.
- Generates and distributes any work-related written communication for physician practice ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintains open lines of communication with all teammates and key stakeholders keeping them informed of procedural and policy changes, key progress updates, and tracking of deliverables. Run bi-weekly integration meetings with the physician practice being acquired.
- Supports acquisition team with due diligence in collaboration with legal, operations, finance, quality, risk, etc.
- Assist in facilitating contract reviews such as leases, equipment, and service contracts. Will coordinate review with responsible departments to ensure accuracy of contracts if deemed necessary (for business purposes) for assumption and assignment to group.
- Monitors set up of new vendor agreements if applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to create spreadsheets and manipulate data.
- Proficient analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in partnership with other departments
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- 5 years experience ambulatory or medical group healthcare
- Lean or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
- certificate in project management preferred
- Frequent local travel to sites
- Flexible hours
- Ability to make professional presentations at an executive level
