The Retail Service Project Manager works within the SharkNinja Sales Enablement & Retail Activation Team to support fundamental tasks involved in the POS development process. The RSPM must have a solid understanding of the current retail environment, a customer service mindset, and a strong track record in retail, retail operations, merchandising, sales, and field marketing.

With a focus on all accounts, the RSPM will be an integral part of the customer experience by leveraging retail merchandising expertise to ensure SharkNinja products are well represented on shelf. The RSPM is responsible for bringing SharkNinja marketing campaigns to life through multi-faceted in store merchandising plans within the individual accounts and through collaborative relationships with the Trade Merchandising & key account sales teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all retail merchandising initiatives (new product introductions, proper implementation, displays, plan-o-grams, etc.…)
  • Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to deliver in store merchandising programs on-time, on-budget and exceed customer expectations.
  • Effectively partner with internal / external teams for scheduling and communication of retail sets, reworks, remodels.
  • Demonstrate superior project/program management skills leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
  • Oversee budget and spend for retail service projects.
  • Serves as the account expert for retail merchandising initiatives.
  • Maintain current account retail specific distribution information.
  • Partner with account retail merchandising teams to achieve and maintain in store merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build effective working relationships.
  • Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to account specific assigned retail merchandising programs.
  • Stays up to date on in store retail industry trend analysis, competitive activity and changing shopper behaviors through industry publications, events, store visits and insight reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related experience
  • 4-5 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising within consumer goods industry with exposure to retailers required.
  • Understanding of merchandising supplier processes.  
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and project management competencies
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting, writing and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate cross department networking
  • Conscientious, strong attention to detail, self-starting
  • Creative mind, not afraid to question and improve the “status quo”
  • Strong conceptual thinking
  • People management experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%
