Amplify is seeking a part-time Project Manager/Events Coordinator to support a series of new virtual and in-person professional development initiatives. The ideal candidate is self-directed and motivated, with the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously. This person is organized, pays attention to detail, and is able to work in a high energy environment. This is a six-month contract position (February-August), approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to potentially extend or pivot to additional projects at Amplify.
**This is a Part Time position**
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and coordinate online product launch (June) and in-person event (July)
  • Track and support progress towards key milestones by all stakeholders
  • Secure and handle site arrangements for in-person event
  • Handle location logistics pre and post event
  • Handle registration for in-person event
  • Coordinate arrangements for event speakers
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event communications
  • Assist with the creation of various marketing assets including professional development collateral

Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' work experience in a professional work environment with event marketing or project management-related work experience
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with other relevant technology
  • Strong writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of K-12 education experience
  • Interest in a career in Marketing, Project Management or Event Planning

Location:
  • Flexible

Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $31.00-$36.00.
