About the job:
The Provider Growth Coordinator will join Upwards’ Provider Growth team and play a critical role in expanding Upwards's network of daycare providers. We are looking for an individual who is motivated by a strong desire to succeed and is excited to empower childcare providers to maximize their business growth and earning potential. You will be selling Upwards’s childcare management app to existing childcare providers and onboarding them to the Upwards network for families to connect with them.
In this role, you will:
- Sell: You are the expert on bringing new childcare providers onto the Upwards platform, and you will be able to answer any questions providers may have. We always want to provide the best interaction to ensure providers succeed with Upwards.
- Onboard: You will learn how to onboard childcare providers by going through the experience yourself. This will help you understand your role and better support our partners. Once you are an expert, you will support our team in onboarding new providers for families looking for childcare.
- Manage: You will manage communications with and give support to several providers joining our network at the same time. Attention to detail and ability to document communications is important.
- Data & Optimization: We like to learn from our experiences. You will be responsible for metrics that will help our team meet our program goals as well as inform how we can improve our process.
- Details: Sometimes you will have special requests or projects. Flexibility and adaptability are important to succeed in this role as you will need to have a solution-oriented, curious, and growth mindset approach to challenges.
You'll excel at this role if you have:
- Previous experience working remotely in a customer-focused facing envionrment, especially if in a sales or user growth-type role
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Slack and Google Suite and desire to learn new tech software
- Understanding how to overcome objections and blockers to keep things moving
- The ability to overcome objections/blockers and be solution-oriented
- Strong communication skills; you will be interacting with childcare providers of different backgrounds
- Self-starter characteristics and a goal-oriented drive
- The ability and desire to work cross-collaboratively
We really like candidates for this role if you have the following:
- Knowledge of the childcare industry and its challenges in the U.S.
- Bonus: Spanish/English or Portuguese/English bilingual.
- Ingenuity: able to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to problems.
- Outside of the Box Thinking: Adaptable and able to find solutions in even the most difficult situations.
- Creativity: Being able to leverage existing resources in creative ways, as well as finding new resources when necessary.
