This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Public Cloud Senior Consultant in the United States.
In this role, you will drive enterprise cloud transformations by leading complex, high-impact projects on public cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS. You will act as a technical authority, guiding clients and internal teams through migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives. This position offers opportunities to design cloud architectures, implement scalable solutions, and influence enterprise IT strategy. You will mentor peers, contribute to internal innovation programs, and leverage automation and cloud-native technologies to maximize efficiency and reliability. Working in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment, your expertise will directly impact client success and help organizations adopt modern cloud practices effectively.
Accountabilities:
- Lead client engagements from initial technical scoping through design, deployment, and post-migration optimization of AWS environments
- Conduct solution design workshops, develop technical documentation, and deliver presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Mentor team members and serve as a technical escalation point for complex cloud challenges
- Design, deploy, and optimize AWS solutions using cloud-native technologies and automation tools
- Ensure successful migration of workloads from on-premises or private cloud to AWS, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and modernization
- Support integration, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of deployed cloud solutions
- Maintain technical governance, best practices, and standards across projects, while contributing to internal capability development
- 7+ years in technology consulting or cloud leadership roles, with at least 4 years of AWS planning and implementation experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including Lambda, EKS/ECS, CloudFormation, Terraform, App2Container, Migration Hub, and related tools
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, JSON)
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and cost optimization tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s preferred
- AWS Professional-level certification required; additional certifications desirable
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and navigate diverse cultural and working environments
